Implementation services

Engaged where the program is, not where a methodology says it should be

Some organizations need a design held steady through build. Others need testing that actually proves something, or a stabilization period that ends with the internal team in control. Each of the following can be engaged on its own.

  1. Before

    Advisory and readiness assessment

Independent review before a program commits. We examine the current process, the proposed scope and the assumptions behind the plan, then say where the risk actually sits.

    • Current-state process and data review for projects, grants and labor
    • Scope and module fit assessment against Oracle Fusion Cloud capability
    • Design decision review and options analysis
    • Risk register for functional and data-conversion exposure
    • Independent second opinion on an in-flight design
  2. During

    Implementation delivery

Functional leadership through design and build. We hold the design decisions, work the configuration, and keep the business and technical tracks talking to each other in the same vocabulary.

    • Requirements workshops and functional design documentation
    • Configuration of Projects, Grants, Costing, Billing, Contracts and Labor Distribution
    • Data conversion rules, mapping support and reconciliation criteria
    • Integration coordination with payroll, procurement, HCM and general ledger teams
    • Security and role design input for project and award access
    • Issue and decision log ownership across the functional track
  3. Before go-live

    Testing and deployment readiness

Testing that proves the design, and a cutover that has already been rehearsed. Readiness is evidenced against defined criteria rather than declared in a status meeting.

    • Test strategy, scenario design and traceability to requirements
    • Conference room pilot facilitation
    • System, integration and user acceptance test support
    • Defect triage, root-cause analysis and retest
    • Cutover planning, dress rehearsal and conversion validation
    • Go/no-go criteria and readiness evidence for the steering committee
  4. After

    Post-go-live stabilization and support

The first periods after go-live decide whether an implementation is judged a success. We stay through the close cycles that expose whatever the test scripts did not.

    • Hypercare triage and functional defect resolution
    • First period and year-end close support
    • Process correction and configuration remediation
    • Reconciliation between project subledger and general ledger
    • Knowledge transfer and enablement for the internal team
    • Quarterly Oracle Fusion update impact review and regression focus

Engagement

How engagements are usually structured

Work is scoped to a defined track and a defined phase, so it is clear what is being bought and when it ends. Rates and terms are agreed in writing before work begins.

Functional lead

Embedded in the program for a defined track — projects, grants or labor — through a phase or to go-live.

Subject-matter expert

Engaged alongside a systems-integration partner for a specific module or design area.

Advisory review

A bounded, time-boxed assessment producing findings and recommendations, with no delivery commitment.

A short conversation is usually enough to establish whether the fit is real. If it is not, we will say so.
