Twenty years of enterprise applications, narrowed deliberately
Muru Mohan has more than twenty years of enterprise applications experience, worked from the functional side of ERP — where a configuration choice becomes a number somebody has to explain.
The specialization is narrow on purpose. Project Portfolio Management, Grants Management and Labor Distribution are the areas where implementations most often stall, because they sit between operational delivery and the financial record and belong entirely to neither. Depth there is worth more than breadth everywhere.
That focus has been applied on Oracle ERP programs in public sector and higher education, in both functional lead and subject-matter expert roles, engaged through systems-integration partners. Those roles are set out, with their sources, on the selected program experience page.
Alongside the functional work sits formal delivery training — Scrum Master certification and project and program management education through UC Berkeley Extension — which is what keeps a functional track running to a plan rather than to enthusiasm.

The vocabulary has to be shared
Finance says one thing, the delivery team hears another, and the gap surfaces at user acceptance testing. Translating between the two is most of the job on a projects and grants track.

Go-live confidence comes from tested scenarios, reconciled conversions and a rehearsed cutover — not from a status color on a slide.
