Privacy Policy
This site collects no personal information automatically. The only personal information we hold is what you choose to send us.
Effective August 6, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy explains how Cloudera IT Solutions ("Cloudera IT Solutions", "we", "us") handles personal information in connection with this website at www.clouderaits.com and with business inquiries made to us.
It does not cover personal information we process on behalf of a client under a services agreement. In those engagements the client is the controller of the data, our obligations are set out in the contract between us, and that contract prevails.
2. Information we collect
Information you send us
If you email us, we receive whatever you include: typically your name, email address, employer, and the details of the inquiry. We hold it because you sent it, and we use it only to respond and, where a conversation leads somewhere, to carry out the resulting engagement.
Information collected automatically
This website sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session tracking and no third-party embeds. Fonts and every other asset are served from this site's own domain, so loading a page does not disclose your visit to any third party.
The site is hosted on AWS Amplify Hosting. Like any web host, the hosting infrastructure records standard server request logs, which may include IP address, timestamp, requested URL, referrer and user-agent string. These logs are generated and retained by Amazon Web Services for operational and security purposes. We do not use them to build a profile of you, and we do not combine them with anything else.
3. Why we process it, and on what basis
- To respond to inquiries. Processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and in our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business.
- To deliver and administer services. Processing is necessary to perform a contract with you or the organization you represent.
- To keep the site available and secure. Our legitimate interest in operating a functioning, secure website.
- To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not send marketing email, and there is no mailing list to unsubscribe from.
4. Who else may see it
Personal information may be handled by the service providers we use to run the business:
- Amazon Web Services — website hosting and content delivery, including server request logs.
- Microsoft — business email for the clouderaits.com domain is hosted on Microsoft 365, so correspondence you send us is stored there.
- Any CRM, accounting, e-signature or file sharing service that handles inquiry data — or confirm there are none
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.
5. How long we keep it
Business correspondence is retained for as long as there is an active or reasonably prospective relationship, and afterwards for as long as needed to meet legal, tax and professional record-keeping obligations. Correspondence that leads nowhere is deleted when it is no longer useful.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.
California residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion or correction, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do neither, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on this site.
To make a request, email muru.mohan@clouderaits.com. We will verify your request by corresponding with you and will respond within the time the law allows. An authorized agent may act for you with written permission.
7. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. We apply access controls and reasonable safeguards to business systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — please do not send sensitive personal information, credentials or confidential client data by unencrypted email.
8. Children
This is a business-to-business website. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
9. International visitors
We operate in the United States and any information you send us is processed there. Data protection law in the United States may differ from that of your own country.
10. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially — in particular if the site begins collecting information it does not collect today — the revised policy will be posted here with a new effective date before the change takes effect.
11. Contact
